1579 - The original Bad Manor, Guild of metal smiths and the King having his ale from the authentic 16th century pub. "Kings Cup"

1580 - The Bakery stage is absent of its resident performers. A recreated ruin that thankfully comes back to life during Festival.

1581 - The original gate as the Wizards Huzzah. Who are the hangmen looking for and what secrets does the Wizard portray?

1582 - All the Way Inn or also known as The Blue Lion Tavern was the new authentic pub. Bag pipers either loved or despised.

1583 - Something Irish has the young lad calling on the Irish maiden. He has to get pas the fiddling grandfather, happy with drink. But it is the father he has to worry about, an expert of fine studs.

1584 - Gutenberg and his printing press are central to the new artist print by Durer in this recreated publishing house. Windmill Press.

1585 - The popularity of the Feast of Fantasy has the royal highness biding a wink and a drink to good times. The new Bad Manor is the backdrop where the feast is held.

-- An Irish Secret, The popularity of Casa Balina in 1583 encouraged a sequel. This cottage shows the result of a successful suitor. The livestock has done well, but at what cost?

1586 - The ever popular Renaissance Joust is the central theme of the festival. The Queens Tea and the Scottish dancers add the social intrigue before and after a contest.

1587 - The House of Ink is featured in this busy Renaissance Marketplace of festival craftsmen. Perhaps you may recognize one of the village folk. Yours truly is on the balcony, not sure of fantasy or fact.

1588 - Michaelmas in Bad Manner is to fantasize the royal feast in the interior of the great hall. The Feast manner calls for a royal belch from one of the finer subjects of the court.

1589 - The Renaissance Wimmelbilder is old Dutch for a festive parade. The original tradition of participants in a parade is an overview of the various merchants, royalty and entertainment.

1590 - The Human Chess Game is created in the fashion of the Master, Heironomous Bosch. the very busy street includes anacronisms and several sub stories. The quickest game of chess is the Renaissance Fools Mate. In this version, during Desert Storm, casting Saddam Hussien as the villain. He opens with his pawn of Kuwait Oil, and then with his pawn of hostage women and children. The festival responds with a sheriffs man pawn and then our beloved Queen. This has placed Saddam in checkmate.

1591 - The Gateway to Magic. The new front gate welcomes you into a world of fantasy. Of course you have to get passed the rat catcher, the guard, the minstrels, and Sir Knight Lush.

1592 - The Legend Discovered depicts the festivals legendary personalities departing the new Legend stage. This composition is created in a depiction of Columbus discovering the Americas.

1593 - Theater of Fools at WitchWood Stage try to capture the whimsy of a performance. The attempt is to challenge the notion of who are the fools. Having a few interstellar guests observing the human games adds to the illusion of the affair.

1594 - The Vices and Virtues of Wee Folk Glen plays with the legend of the wee folk and civilizations philosophy of the seven virtues and seven vices of mankind. Some personalities have transformed their character into the life of wee folk.

1595 - In Defense of the Realm is a not so subtle dipiction of the Merry Minstrials leaving the realm and being accosted by greed. The good Sheriff comes to the rescue but will their loyalty and appreciation return them to the Kingdom?

1596 - The Last Huzbah is a self portrait of the artist toasting a final farewell to the audience.
